I run a small movement with about 35 something people on discord and 250 something followers on X.

The content is grievance heavy, so I have a constant stream of followers that attack the targets.

However, some of them are of particular concern, not because just they are ideological fanatics, but because they are unhinged AND fanatical at the same time.

Some examples:

1. Constantly talks about the movement is hopeless and rages endlessly, turning our discord into a toxic dumb of negativity, we got rid of him after many months.

2. A follower who focuses on anime and robots mostly, but when he comes to comment on my posts, he's absolutely fanatical. He calls for ripping out the organs of our enemies.

3. A more fanatical follower: this one constantly rages at the enemies with no restrictions; he directly calls to kill them or attacks. It doesn't help that he lives in our enemies' land and subject to restrictions like internet limit and limited speech, fueling his resent.

Fanaticism and violent views itself aren't the issue, it's when you combine with extreme resent, and hatred even for fellow members.

The more level headed members may support violence, but they don't go on shootings.

The things I'm most afraid of are:

1. They go on a shooting. It means the ecosystem is done for or will be isolated to telegram channels.

2. They turn the chat into a toxic dump of negativity.

It's why I limit my grievance content and add daily talk/motivational shit in between; For some, all it takes is a little push and they will shoot up their malls with AR-15, and I don't want this to happen due to deplatformimg risk.

Sometimes. Before I was aware of opsec and such in hs I was in a few radical environmentalist groups where one dude was all for eco ISIS/ al qaeda and talked about attacks on grids or local politicians.

That's why i don't join these communities or small niche ones, they're gonna start being some 764 larp.

They either exist on normgroid places like disctroon and 4cucks which I don't go to or some extremely niche space

Maybe those unhinged extreme followers are actually controlled opposition.

Basically, they don't agree with you ( against you ) and to destroy your movement, they purposely post unhinged and negative comments to make your movement look bad.

They pretend to be your followers but they are actually trying to destroy the movement from within.

Many people are impulsive in these spaces. My follower talked about making a KKK style group and killing people on the streets. Had to teach him OPSEC.

Agreed, there are some legit terminally online psychpaths and doxxers.

This is what happens when you take in terminally online people, you will always have edgy extremists.
You should permaban them, and enforce strict guidelines - otherwise they will cause you a lot of trouble.

True. I don't care too much about the violence, real or not. I care about the extreme blowback (including jail time) when it's traced back.
