There are about 18 million Asian Americans. The average person gets married 2 times over 60 years, so the average yearly marriage rate is 3.33% per capita. (This is in line with other estimates of 30 per 1000.) Multiplying, we'd expect the total Asian American yearly marriage rate to be 600k. We'd halve it to count AF, but we all know AF get married at least twice as much as AM, so we can ballpark maybe 400k AF marriages per year. Compare this to that 900k number: it's more than enough for all AF to be in WMAF twice over, which...seems about right, actually.

The napkin math is sure to be off. Where are you getting the WMAF/AMWF statistics? Either way, it doesn't take a genius to notice that WMAF is everywhere and AMWF is practically non-existent. And as I've pointed out a dozen times, the marriage numbers are less skewed than the dating numbers due to bananarangs.
