Simpsons were never really funny. Seasons 3-7 were the peak when it was a relatable family and setting with entertaining antics.

They used to be but now there are more bad seasons than good ones. I liked them until season 11 after that the quantity of good episodes really decreases.

Yes but start from season 2, season 1 is like some weird low quality pilot run, the rest of the show is nothing like it.
