I like slender women. I find fat highly unattractive. I can’t identify with those men who settle for fat pig women. I must be part of an increasingly rare breed. I think of the Venus of Willendorf when I see today’s women. They have gone way beyond the plumpness in Reuben’s paintings. This is odd, because we are living in a time when scarcity is unknown, and movies and TV emphasize thin women as beautiful, and fat as a joke.
I think they must be getting some form of internal psychological reward for allowing themselves to get fat. It’s a mystery to me what that reward might be.
