I have a hard time believing that, most of them seem to have nice places to live and decent food to eat. Not only that but they get to travel. Most of them also drive and have cars. The average normie’s life is Elon Musk compared to my life.

Yes and no. Cost of living is prohibitively expensive so many men are at risk of one bad event rendering them homeless, but at the same time incomes are also high enough that a few extra dollars can be spent on good food, and a car is basically a nessecity it most parts of the US, you can't really get a job without one.

Yes lol.

I mean I'm quite broke and poor and know quite few other broke and poor people in the usa

Yes, if you want to be a normie with any sort of dating life.

Depends what area you live.

If you live in the tech hub of the entire western world (Silicon valley). People make boatloads of money.

If you live in a black and brown ghetto, you got people with 400 credit scores that make $550-750 a week, live in roach infested apartments just one car malfunction away from homelessness.

From what I hear about Silicon valley is that it's mostly currycels making $80-100k and living with three or four men per unit to cover costs of living.

Shitskins seem to think that the USA is some Eutopia in which everyone is wealthy and happy. They don't seem to understand that the USA has the most expensive college tuition, healthcare and dental care. They think that all Americans live like kings. Thats why they try so hard and risk their life to come here via the border. Their entire view of the USA is based off Hollywood movies/Musk/Trump/American celebrities.

That said the median wealth of an American is rank 15th and the average wealth is ranked 3rd in the world meaning that Americans are far better than most people, including the average European.

USA also ranks 2nd in median income

So are Americans better off? YES. Is it some Europia? NO. PLEASE stop thinking that and risking your life to come here.

USA has a very very cheap cost of living

$1500 per month to live in a high crime shithole, plus costs of vehicle ownership so you can get to the job that you need to pay for the rent, plus the costs of insurance that you are legally forced to have for the vehicle that you need to get to your job to pay for the rent, plus costs of health and dental insurance is not cheap. I am able to live affordably because I'm a neet so I don't need a vehicle and my family lets me live with them at below market rates.

$1500 per month to live in a high crime shithole,
That’s absolutely jack shit, that’s only $18k a year in rent. If my rent was that cheap I’d be Warren Buffett by now with all my savings.

None of this is needed, take the bus to work

True but before Obama you didn’t have to pay for it

That's over half a wagie's gross income on rent alone

>None of this is needed, take the bus to work

Not an option most places.

>True but before Obama you didn’t have to pay for it

if you didn't pay for it you didn't have it and one big medical bill is a death sentence.

Depends on the job I guess. I made 60k a year and my rent was $25k a year and I was fine.

No buses at all?

That’s why you gotta stay healthy and stay safe

They have nice stuff but also buried in debt. They drive a $80k vehicle with a $1500 a month payment then complain they have no money.

Well, we are rich compared to third world countries.
People dying of hunger is not a thing in the USA.
Even the homeless have plenty to eat.

But, like others said, we are not all movie stars with mansions.

2 parents working is enough to make it imo.

standard of living in America is high so I doubt that even being broke wouldn't be bad

Maybe if you’re making good money in a costal city. anywhere else you hardly make enough to pay bills, much less have an enough to travel. Trust me a car is a lot less fun to have when you’re forced to drive and pay overpriced insurance on it.
No buses at all?
Nope, none at all unless you live and work in a major city.

But isn't life super cheap outside major cities? I heard there are houses for under 500k

Cheap? I mean in comparison yes but your wages are usually lower from my experience in South Carolina. As for cheap housing prices, yes, they're even lower than that infact but again it's hard for many people to afford a mortgage with the pay they make here unless they have a well paying job and another partner working.

What do the jobs typically pay?

US census says about 35,000 a year for median individual income in South Carolina. I'm making about 39,000 before taxes.
I see, ok i can see how that may be a biy difficult.

The hell where you doing to make that much? I'm going to assume this is in Euros
I work in finance, and it's in CAD.

I was able to afford a very very affluent life and buy steaks whenever I want.

Americans just like to complain, most are stable financially. You don’t become the richest by resting on your laurels

I work in finance
Interesting, did you need some type of degree to get where you're at or did you just work lower end finance jobs for a few years and applied to the job you're at? I'm sure the job market works a bit different in Canada but I'm going to start to work towards getting a non-shit job soon and just want to know the best way to get into a finance.

@Skelly that's literally genocide you chud bigot.

You need to go to a very prestigious school and have people already in the industry that you know, like family or friends, and even then it's hard.
