MGTOW seems to me like successful older men who got burned and learned the harsh truth about life. Some may have even been a chad in the past, but they learned to live for themselves because they don't need the bullshit.

Quite a few, yes. However, I feel like alot of self proclaimed incels are actually MGTOW in denial. For example, if you're a slim male and have uggos and fat girls interested in you, you are not technically incel. While the guy may decide to not fuck them, his brain will still tell him he is alone. This will overwhelm him, and cause him to think he's incel.
