There are genetic markers. I believe the ashkenazi Jew (those you call white Jews) is 48% European on average. The easiest way to spot a Jew is by its nose. They tend to be big and hooked, the noses that is

Jews are a people, their religion is Judaism. They are Abrahametic and worship Jahev, same as Muslims, Christians and Mormons. They have been persecuted since Roman times.
