It's more like if Scandinavians only ever married other Scandinavians so they didn't mix with anyone else and they all worshipped Odin and they dispersed themselves within non-Scandinavian countries so becoming a distinct ethnic group. It's not that Scandinavians are an entire separate race from other caucasians in this scenario though they just would be more noticeable as as a whole carry on.
