No. Their first 20-30 years of life will be full of comforts and dopamine overload, which is why boomers say they're lucky as that's the only thing boomers care about. But at the same time most aren't experiencing the deeper pleasures that people used to experience - social connections, healthy lifestyle, seeing hard work pay off, getting married and having kids.

Even worse is that they'll have to withstand the collapse of the current economic order. Whether that entails extreme economic hardship or even a struggle for survival, it will be hell and they're completely unprepared for it because they've never endured a real hardship (aside from mental illness) in their lives, how "lucky" they are.

What copes would you say were around back then? I have access to all the porn I want, all the junk food. Pretty empty copes but I like them.

Video games were way better since devs focused on making them fun rather than good graphics or marketing to a billion people. There weren't near as many normalfags on the internet. And kids still did other activities like riding around on bikes, pulling pranks, playing tabletop games. We used to ride down to the game shop and pool together cash to buy some, then we'd play together. Or we would have yugioh matches. Once we even broke into some abandoned warehouse. It was so much fun. Doing everything over the internet sucks in comparison. There's no novelty to it. This is what zoomies are missing out in. I only wish I was able to do it for longer.
