Discussion Are drugs and alcohol a good cope?

I have been dealing with every trauma, anger issues and mental illness in my life, sober. But only because I don't have money for drugs or alcohol.

It's probably the hardest thing to do, for me, not being able to escape from my reality for a couple of hours.

But maybe I'm naively wanting something that will just triple up my pain.

You guys tell me, I don't know...

Not good if you're so poor you can't afford them in the first place. If you were a middle class cell,maybe.

With enough addiction, you can easily get yourself homeless. There are better copes out there you should explore, good luck

Yes. I use weed as my main cope, but I do drink sometimes.
