Serious Are any of you seriously considering buying rural land and living out the rest of your days as a hermit?

Save up the money, as much as you can. I dont know how much a couple acres of land costs in rural kentucky for example, but that is my dream state.

Start by living as a hermit in small increments. Try a day, then a week, then a month, then years, then permanent. Dont just jump into the wilderness.

I have lived in the suburbs/city my entire life, and have practically no knowledge or skills for this, but I will force myself to learn.

This is true, but you can certainly make friends with other hermits in the area, even to trade with. We cant be completely isolated, even my cucked workplace right now gives me some human interaction. That is a good point.
