I think from an economical standpoint a social market (as in Germany) makes a lot of sense. Apart from that left politics for me is connected with feminism, PC and SJW which in my eyes is the worst crime commited by human kind.

Thankfully, I grew out of my "Give me stuff I didn't work for because I want it" phase. Seems like a lot of people are still there. When the queue for gibsmedats turns out to be a firing squad line-up, it's always on the voters that were more optimistic than they had any good reason to be.
I'm left wing economically and socially libertarian.
I support single payer healthcare, robust and adequate state run services, a higher income tax rate for those who make over $100,000 (gotta pay for it somehow), etc. I also support a large increase in R&D (Research and development) spending, (both state run and subsidized) specifically with the goal of automating enough jobs to make universal basic income viable.
However, I also support the constitution and especially the first amendment. I'm militantly against anything that could even potentially weaken the first amendment. I do not want the current constitution modified in any way shape or form, just leave it alone.
I am strongly against: Feminism, any law that restricts freedom of speech (e.g. "hate speech" laws), the NSA, the military industrial complex, gender quotas (e.g. "affirmative action") and PC culture in general.
There's no ideology that supports all of these values, as far as I am aware.
That said, I am well aware that in this day and age, a "leftist" has come to mean someone who is militantly authoritarian and spends all day on Tumblr and Twitter ranting about "the patriarchy" "cultural appropriation" how #AllMenArePigs and how we need a more intersectional feminist police state where men are put in prison (or death camps) for expressing politically incorrect views. Hell, thats a very large chunk of the millennial left...ergo why I no longer call myself a "leftist" despite my economic views.
