I attempted to fill out the SSI application form online, but the Social Security Administration could not verify my identity.

So now I'm hold with their toll free number. "Your estimated wait time is 55 minutes. Someone will be available to assist you shortly." :feelsgah:

just wait 55 minutes br0

As a n33t I don't mind the wait; I've spent years rotting so one hour means little. But that cope about "someone will be available to assist you shortly" is tip top fucking lol.

What I am concerned about is having to visit a physical ϟϟ office after this.

Wish you luck, OP.

Did you get it? Was it hard?

I got a phone interview scheduled for next week, and am also being mailed a form which I can simply fill out and mail back to Social Security.

So far, the process of applying for SSI has been really amenable to my autism. But it is a process and so it'll take some time to finalize.

Most people without psychiatric histories get denied on their first application and have to go through an appeal. However, I have the advantage of absolutely no work history, which lends credence to my case of not being able to work. On what basis would they have plausible deniability on my claim of being disabled when I've never worked a job in my life as a consequence of my stated disability (i.e. autism)?

I wish you best of luck brother
