A very common fallacy on the Internet is the Apex Fallacy. The Apex Fallacy is a Fallacy of Composition where people assume that what is true of the best of a group applies to everyone in said group. I.E. the most powerful people in a given society are men therefore men in general are very privileged despite men being disproportionately homeless or in prison. People who often commit the Apex Fallacy are feminists when they whine about the patriarchy and how men are tyrants with unfair lives while women suffer.
Even people on Incel websites and other places commit the Apex Fallacy. In particular, sheltered White folks believe that all Black men are tall, athletic, thugmaxxed, big-dicked, charismatic, dancing, alpha males despite all of the evidence to the contrary. Just read this Reddit post. In the eyes of many non-Blacks, when they think of Black people, they only think of major celebrities like Michael Jordan or Snoop Dogg or Lexington Steele and ignore the 99% of regular Black folks who aren't special at all and live substandard lives. This is literally why some fools seriously believe in Just Be Black theory. They don't actually know Black people in real life and the only Blacks they are aware of are famous Tyrones so they just assume every Black man is a Tyrone. Many people really need to travel more.
To be fair, I also noticed a version of the Apex Fallacy amongst ethnicels. Many deathniks say that White men can get any women. But when they think of White men, they aren't thinking of 300 lb Cletus from the trailer park or nerdy Simon who lives in his mother's basement. They are thinking of a rich, blonde, 6-foot tall, muscular Chad with great looks. No shit that a man with those qualities can get laid easily! This is literally why there are arguments here on about whether Mediterranean/Slavic Europeans are White or if Whitecels exist or not; the vast majority of White men don't actually have the quintessential White features third-worlders think they have.
