I guess you could argue that it’s artistically tragic and meaningful in some manner but it just feels really really anticlimactic to me, even compared to the previous ending

Armin really turned out to be a disappointment compared to Erwin, damn. The messaging seems pretty conflicting if anything was actually trying to be said. The rumbling was partially successful in the short term, but led to their downfall in the end, especially now that titans are gone. It really seems futile to watch through again.
