But this type of event might have slowed down the speed at which society comes to realize the error of its ways by giving MSM an easy way to paint us all as murderous evil in the making and giving normies an excuse to give in to their misanthropic base instincts.

Not that I blame these men too much, if your life is bad enough you want to die for real, it makes no sense to expect of you to consider how your actions will affect the rest of your sex (almost all of whom are strangers to you). And with how many men are suffering, it was inevitable that some of them would lash out.

It could also be that the publicity our situation got from those shootings sped up political progress, despite us being portrait purely unsympathetically, by forcing society to face our suffering at gunpoint. Maybe what was inevitable was how normies would have to go through a phase of hating and bullying us so that a discordance would develope between the more empathetic and reasonable parts of the male population / the populace and the more sadistic types.

I would prefer ER et al. never happened, but I feel not absolutely certain that our situation would be better in that world line.
