Discussion Anyone play paradox games?

I used to play hoi4 and eu4 years ago but kinda forgot about them, the most recent paradox game i played was ck2.

Hoi4 and eu4 got updated so much that it makes me kinda wanna go back and play them again to see what's changed.

Love paradox games.
My favorite is stellaris. Plenty of depth but not overly complex like eu or hoi
Bought empire of sin but it really hasn’t hooked me yet
Last eu dlc I got was rule Britannia, they just release way to many. How about eu5 now guys

Not anymore, I've dropped out of paradox games due to their cringe dlc policy.
And I won't pirate games anymore because I got a fucking virus doing that (and it was from a "respectable" pirate site, fitgirl repacks)

I play hoi 4 and use to play stellaris a lot but stopped after apocalypse came out.

Yes. I played EU 3 as a child and young adult and loved it. Never could get in to EU 4. Too gamey. Not immersive, which is what I look for in games.

I played ck2 since it came out and loved it. Bought every DLC and got about 80 percent of the achievements. CK 3 is awesome, too. The dynamic character avatars really add something and I can't wait to see what future DLC brings. It is much more difficult to make a huge empire last than it was in CK2 however. Only managed it once so far.

Stellaris is fantastic as well. Definitely the most chill of all of them once you get the hang of the systems. I love playing it while I watch anime or listen to podcasts.

Didn't really like Vicky or Hearts of Iron. Not too interested in the modern era, really.
