I recently got into league of legends again after dropping it for years. Much more fun than I expected. Especially since it's encouraged to shit talk your bad teammates. Anyone play? What's your main and lane?

Yea back in like 2016-2017 with some friends in highschool that played that shit religiously. I played a good few games in mid and bottom lane but I never got into it. I've never really enjoyed mobas ngl.

Used to play top/mid, got to diamond 2 promos before quitting. Shit was fun, but way too time consuming. If you want to climb you have to play all the time to keep up with match-ups, learn new meta champs, practice mechanics. And then you have horrible social interactions a majority of your games (although I played with chat deactivated a lot of the time). In the end you invest so much time and effort and, if you aren't making money streaming it, you don't really get anything back. Also not a good game to play with friends, since it will mostly breed conflict and resentment.
That's why I play draft. If I play ranked I don't really care about my rank.
I don't really agree, sure we might get tilted at the game but usually not at eachother, we usually have quite fun playing

That is true. But this goes with most competitive games. Rainbow six siege is notoriously bad at that. The only saving grace that lol has is that you can shit talk to your hearts content, which makes me tilt less. Playing siege with that oppressive chat filter feels like I'm in a straight jacket

Haven't played in years since balance got too focused on esport, now matches are ultra stiff even in non-ranked and there were too many faggotry skins or retcons of old characters to make them gay. They also made foids less revealing for no reason
