I've been doing both for like 3 months
I don't think I'm actually balding (I've had this hairline for years), I'm like Norwood 1 which some may call the "adult hairline", but it's a straight line or nothing
my family has a massive history of balding so I should've hopped on it in my teens tbh
anyway, I think my temples are slowly marching forward (some baby hair popping up) which I like
I'd also recommend drinking mint tea, like 2 cups a day, it's an antiandrogen used for hirsutism in women, but I also remember reading about it working against male balding - worth a try, especially since it's cheap af and tastes nice anyway (don't go overboard as it can wreck your stomach in large doses tho )
