The show is unrealistic, if we acted like that, having meltdowns at work and screaming and throwing fits, we would not get two girlfriends and a wife like Shaun murphy easily got.
Many autist including myself hate it. Like cool he is a doctor but he is written like a fucking baby.

I watched it until he started planning his wedding to that Stacy as, being an autistic incel, I started raging that I don't have what Dr Murphy has. Might start watching it again tho ngl.
The initial bit where most of the staff are ableist against him and don't even wanna let him work there is very accurate. The bit where Stacy (initially) rejects him is accurate.
But yeah, him being desired by both a Becky and then later by a Stacy, in spite of his meltdowns and social ineptitude, is wildly unrealistic. Even his Mulatta Becky co-worker sticking up for him and empathising with his plight is pushing it, lmao.
On the other hand, it is both endearing to see a storyline where an autistic outcast finally gets to fuck a Stacy but also rage-inducing to see cos I don't have a Stacy (or even a Becky).
