He indirectly tells Ryuk being popular is about looks (since Light is a Chang)
Been wanting to watch Death Note for a while but lost the interest after a bunch of edgy roastie wannabe weabs didn't shut up about it. I tend to avoid most mainstream things because something that normies like is rarely something I can enjoy too. Is it really that good?

Angel Densetsu. Everyone thinks that the main character is a criminal just because he's ugly. It's a comedy, tho. Bluepilled ending but it's good.
This was the first manga I ever read beginning to end, I fucking loved it. I hate the blue pill-y type stuff in it with the MC's mother being beautiful despite being married to an abomination of a human being, and him eventually getting a qt gf despite himself being a horribly ugly abomination.

It was one of the first mangas that I read as well. Some recommended this manga with Sanctuary, Homunculus, Kokou no Hito and Riki-Oh. All great mangas, excluding Riki-Oh.This was the first manga I ever read beginning to end, I fucking loved it.
