I'm not trying to sound like a chinese shill, I just think that when you look at the situation it becomes apparent that China isn't doing all that much worse that the west.
Spying on citizens? The NSA and its European counterparts all do it.
Shooting and beating protestors? France used live grenades to disperse the yellow vests.
Displacing and killing millions? The USA keeps native americans in poverty and europe is importing violent terrorists by the boatload.
Unlawful territorial claims? The USA has an EEZ that stretches further from its coast than any other nation.
Unnecessary aggression? I shouldn't even need to explain this one, just look at what the USA has done to the middle east.
So basically in my opinion China is a state capitalist shithole whole the USA and most of Europe are neoliberal shitholes.
