It's not the kids themselves that are different, it is the technology that they have access to that makes them different. I see Baby Boomers acting like Zoomers the moment they get onto TikTok. Certain websites promote certain cultures and this is what drives them to behave this way.

One of the biggest drawbacks of the internet is that it not only connects smart people, but it also connects dumb people.
Connected dumb people are a force to reckon with.

The problem is there are more stupid people than smart people, and if enough stupid people connect with each other, it becomes impossible to keep them in line by the smart people. That's why we ahve so much degeneracy atm.
The internet unironically was a bad thing.
