Discussion Anyone else looking to invest in the stock market in the near future?

I feel like I missed out on a big dip in mid March when everyone was panic selling because of the coronavirus. I waited it out expecting prices to fall further, and of course the opposite happened and now the most stable companies are back near to all time highs. Anyway, I have around £100k saved up and I’m gonna pounce when everyone stops acting retarded and realises how screwed the economy is. So far I’m looking at PayPal, Disney, shopify, UPS and Tesla, among others.

Here's a noob way of Investing in a few sentences:

Long term:
-Look for a reputable popular company that the world will always need
-Look at a graph of stock history
-Is it lower than before? Then Buy. Continue buying whilst cheap.
-Wait for years for it to grow in price.
-Sell.

Short term:
-Buy at drops
-Sell at tops
