Anyone else here ever tried CBD?

Tried vaping it, did nothing for me.

I take CBD nearly every day. But with added THC. And smoke

You know, it's weird because I trust tobacco more than I trust marijuana...

I think tobacco takes many years of abuse to take a truly harmful toll on the body, whereas... I really don't trust THC to not cause serious mental health conditions like schizophrenia (in some but not all people) after relatively short periods of use.

It will be very interesting to see how these experiments in legalising marijuana turn out.

Yes, I use CBD and marijuana medically. It does wonders for pain and shit mental health.

CBD is a meme and doesn't work without THC really. For the most part it's placebo. If you need help with anxiety, look for some research chemical benzos like clonazolam, flualprazolam, diclazepam, etc. Can buy online and it's technically legal.

Hm. I always assumed that if diazepam carried significant long-term health risks and it seems to be the most widely accepted among doctors, then the others would probably be worse. Maybe that was a sloppy assumption and I should look into it further.

Regarding my previous tobacco post... I did make an error in that I assumed that in people who smoke tobacco for say 30 years, it takes the full 30 years for them to get - in this example - lung cancer. Turns out that lung cancer can take up to 20 years to progress to the level where it's showing noticeable symptoms, so that means the person was only smoking for 10 years before they got cancer.

Scary stuff. I don't smoke often though as I know it's bad for me. I may start vaping soon to get the sensation of smoking but without the health impacts.

As for marijuana... I guess time will tell. But lots of studies have strongly indicated it is harmful for mental health. I think it actually lowers testosterone a bit too, whereas tobacco increases it (not that that's a reason to smoke, but I'm just saying :) ).

Last time i smoked some week i was on a mountain and i broke my arm skiing.

CBD does nothing for anxiety

If you get schizophrenia from weed that you 100% would have gotten it later on life from any stress you face.

What studies, because the ones I've seen show that marijuana has a negligable effects on mental health disorders and even the minor effect take decades of daily smoking for them to be noticeable, buy I'm genuinely curios if I was mislead as I'm not an avid phantic marijuana defender.

Well, I'm not 100% sure about it either. That's why I'm curious to see what happens now places are legalising it. Personally I think it will end badly but let's wait and see. Even just Wikipedia covers this topic quite well.

As for CBD... yeah it hasn't done much for me yet. I'll try for a bit longer though. Slow breathing does help though, which I think is why vaping and smoking (of any substance) helps with anxiety at least a bit.

I used to vape CBD and it kinda helped my anxiety.

Ah interesting. I do wonder if it will work for me if I vape it as opposed to taking it sublingually as I am right now.

I went to a music festival over the weekend and was dropping CBD oil and drinking beer. I swear that combo had me feeling fucking amazing for awhile.

It absorbs best as a tincture or edible. Smoking and vaping is less effective. Topical creams can be good too

Well I mean, I swallow it after it's been under my tongue for 1-2 minutes. It says it's 15% CBD (and also says 1500mg). And 3-4 drops 2-3 times a day and no more than 15 drops per day. I've been on a dose of roughly 4 drops twice a day recently.

I don't think I've felt any different though.
