No I love my father. I just don't see him because I'm ashamed of disappointing him with my isolated/ dependent lifestyle. He's always been a social butterfly and I used to get the vibe that he felt deeply sorry for me when I hung out with him sometimes. Even though he was a major fuckup in his youth he always had friends and was good at dealing with people (even if a lot of it was manipulation to sleep on their couches etc.). Very sad, trying to work on this.
My dad got screwed over by my mom, they had a falling out and she denied him visitation saying that "She'd find me a new dad" He physically put himself on child support. I may not like him, but I respect him.

This may not seem like too much of a bad thing, some would even expect it, but the real problem is that when I was younger and whenever I said sorry for doing something it was always a cold and viscous "sorry isn't good enough" followed by a spanking. So basically my dad is literally making all these rules for me and isn't going to follow them himself. I hope his death is as painful in 1 second as my whole cruel existence has been.
