My parents could have treated me for my eating issues and scoliosis as they were very aware of it when they were young. They kept however suggesting their own pseudo-science bullshit remedies to fix my problem instead of bringing me to a specialist.

Makes it even worse knowing that my country has free healthcare.

They didn't do it on purpose they just don't know any better, and outside of such aspects they are quite good parents and have provided for me well.

This. I found the BP at a relatively young age when I as bullied in school and extremely bloated and ugly. I was also the shortest kid in the class.
