Just last year i dropped my android in public and the battery fell out and i could feel everyones stares burning into my skin. I could hear some people trying not to laugh, Never felt so embarrassed. Now ive given in and got a used up old iphone because i became afraid of that happening again. I fucking cant stand how i let dumb shit like this get to me so easily.

I can relate, if i have to be in a busy public area i'll plan ahead so I don't get into embarrassing situations.

I have been told that most people are self absorbed and worrying about themselves and their own life issues to be concerned about a stranger they might quickly glance at doing something. I think this is right but at same time can't stop myself totally from thinking they remember or its a big deal. I try to think of something embarrassing someone else did and i usually can only remember one instance where an overweight girl fell off the stage at graduation in highschool...everything else its difficult to remember someone else doing something embarrassing.

If it's an obscure old android, then I can see why people stared. The newer ones (such as samsung galaxy series) are quite nice, and many normies use them
