Anyone else feel lonely doing anything else besides gaming and LDAR

I tried picking up hobbies and getting out it just feels so lonely and pointless, this feeling has been following me since 2023. I know alot of troons say this but I think I’m depressed. I’m not very good at writing down my thoughts but this feeling won’t go away, it’s like I’m in a video game and I am soft locked of progressing the story is the best way to describe it. I can’t get rid of it and I refuse to go on anti depressants because in the famous words of ted kaczynski

I do but that’s mostly just content I’m consuming I can’t do anything else or my brain will tell me it’s pointless and a waste of time

Got to reprogramme your brain, the issue is with something like this there’s so many things it could be.

Do you get brain fog and fatigue? Are you NT?

Me too. I will begin doing something productive for a few hours then my brain will tell me I should be LDARing instead so I reverse all my progress and go back to sitting on the game and reading posts here.

Yes it feels horrible like I’m in groundhogs day, im sure others can better describe it but I’m planning on roping in my mid 20s if it doesn’t get better

Yes a lot recently sleeping to whole day and night and I have adhd but I think I might have autism I could be wrong tho

I tried to get rid of my copes so I could maybe fix my life and not LDAR but after only a day I started to feel physically ill once I had to confront the reality of my situation and had to go back to rotting and resuming all my copes after three days, I would genuinely probably die/rope if I wasn’t coping constantly

I’m planning on roping in my mid 20s if it doesn’t get better

How old are you brocel? I’ve already left my mid 20s and no hopes for the future

Right thanks for the info, so anecdotally I can tell you that I’ve gone through similar feelings years ago and I managed to cure it, I’m just not sure exactly what I changed that did it, might be everything.

Start going to the gym regularly, do a PPL and add some cardio at the end of each workout, progressively overload ( this increases testosterone and release of endorphins)

So low T and neuro imbalances can cause it so that deffo helps.

Try an elimination diet, what we eat can cause inflammation and loads of other issues, I’ve found that eating a carnivore diet gets rid of all brain fog for me, im not saying you’ll get the same result but there’s no harm in trying, basically the constant spikes in glucose and insulin can mess with your brain.

Brief periods of mindfulness can help centre you, so this might be difficult with the ADHD but say when you doing something just try to spend like a minute or 2 to slowly experience it; so like when I’m eating I’ll put my phone away and just focus on the food and chill or when I get up in the morning I’ll have a quiet coffee and focus on my breathing.

A proper sleep schedule helps as well, takes a while to reset but if you can get in a routine then you feel better, if I have a late night then I end up feeling groggy and off all the next day.

Cutting out alcohol years ago helped as well.

Maybe check you’ve not got any deficiency’s as well, vitamin D especially.
