Something i've noticed about my life is that I have always been a silent observer, I tend to sit back and observe situations from the outside instead of getting involved with them. In school I would just sit back and listen to other people talk and stalk them on social media while I vicariously try and live through their stories and anecdotes. My friends in school would usually comment on how aloof I seem all the time because I was always engaged in some sort of reflection

yeah i'm starting to think it's a coping mechanism that I constructed at a young age to minimize public ridicule/embarrassment
