my dad eventually went back as he made enough money to never work overseas again but he finally settled home when I was 15, he left when I was 6. Only came home during those years for three weeks worth of vacation.

My father was an alcohol addict, I have pics of him being drunk all day and refusing to go to work to drink more alcohol. So yeah I was also raised by my single mother + later on a stepfather who was more like a friend than a father.
