I can't stand modern gaming. Usually, I just play on my Sega Genesis or Nintendo Gameboy.

Most of us enjoy older stuff

What's the appeal of retro games? But I mean retro-retro, like those you play on Game Boy.
I personally cannot play anything released before 1997, and maybe 2006 if we talk about things I actually play to full completion; the oldest game I've enjoyed is the original Fallout.

For me personally, it's the simplicity, and the fact that what you see is what you get, a game with everything already in it, finished, no microstransactions, no bullshit.

Most games aren’t creative anymore

Would you say RuneScape is retro? That’s my favorite game of all time and imo the greatest game of all time, best cope.

These, the first 3 streetfighter games and sonic the hedgehog, young me wasted hours on these. even after finishing them, I still played them like endlessly.

it was so fucked up that I was playing these while kids my age already got pcs and were already playing cod and other pc titles because that's all my parents could afford me while somehow every kid around me was the opposite.

I knew these games weren't modern, I still played them and had enjoyable experience. I learned to cope at a young age :feelsbadman:

Yep. I have been retro gaming since 2007.

im a true retro games enthusiast, can’t fathom how most people leave these hidden gems to collect dust, their charm is quite surreal & definitely unmatched

Dude, Batman was a great title on the system! It was a pain, but I loved it. Mortal Kombat is another one of my favorites.

I know brother :feelsokman: which is why I couldn't finish it as a kid
tbh spiderman and mj's moonwalker were painful as well but I finished a bigger percentage of them. but these games, the physics they have are so enjoyable despite their simplicity

the batwing stages were pure joy
