Obviously this does not help my case on any front but I fucking love birdwatching. Being alone in nature is just so awesome because I can pretend for a moment that I am not alone in almost every other aspect of my life. It's snowy where I am and seeing the cardinals hopping around looking for berries in the pure snow makes me want to be alive.

Also gives me a good reason to own a pair of binoculars.

I feed birds in my garden and watch them with binoculars. I have like 10 great tits, 10 bullfinches, 3 blue tits, 2 crested tits, 1 woodpecker, 1 yellowhammer, 1 black woodpecker (rare), 2 magpies, 2 eurasian jays. I make sure they get alot of animal fat now during the winter so i feed them raw beef tallow and butter. I've also fed them unsalted peanuts. It's a fun cope.
