It's like almost a pleasant taste -- very very distinctive (except for the fact that, yes, it tastes just like iron) and sharp. Wouldn't exactly do it for fun but when you taste a bit of it, like if your mouth bleeds or you lick a cut to sort of stem it, it's kind of weirdly enjoyable.
