You're having a normal dream. Nothing seems out of place (laws of physics, monsters etc.). Then you find out you have a girlfriend and you're doing normal stuff with her (not even sexual).

Had a dream the other night where I had a girlfriend who liked hanging out and watching me play video games. The fucked up part is that she would get bored of watching sometimes and didn't like watching me play some games, which would make the dream seem even more real.

The idea of having a romantic relationship (even a non-romantic one) feels so far from reality I don't think it's even possible for me to dream it. I only talk to a handful of women a year and all of those interactions have been very brief. I don't have any remotely similar experiences to draw from so I doubt my mind could even form a scenario in which a woman even took an interest in me.

I'm glad I don't have dreams of being in a loving relationship, it would be too brutal once I woke up. I don't want to be taunted with what I'm missing out on.

I rarely have gf dreams, last time I dreamt about ww2 (literally) like I was some Yankee or Brit soldier and I've seen very realistic scene like some German soldier was shot, but still alive and he was finished off with headshot.
