I'm heavily considering studying pathology but im open to most other less social med fields
anyone else considering/studying/have studied medical shit? how was it?

I want to study medicine, it's actually my biggest goal. If I don't get to study medicine I'll have to work in a job that I don't enjoy, waste 8-10 hours every day. That would be suicidefuel.

My brother is a doctor in neurology, so I can't give you first hand Information, but maybe it helps you anyway.
He hates people too, so he choose to become a research scientist, but a position like this is really hard to get into.
He's a magna cum laude, so he was making good connections already while studying and got into the position like that.
From what I can tell you will need to study nearly every day to make it.
I would only really recommend it if you genuinely like studying. He was bullied in school and coped by studymaxxing from early on so he was used to it.

i know alot about medicine cause i was going to go to university to study Medicine and then go into dermatology but i went into aerospace engineering instead

There's a chance I'll get accepted in Romania and in Germany the requirements to get into medicine will change in less than two years.
It would be a luxury to study here in Germany but I've given up on that already.
If I don't get to study medicine, I will not study anything. I'll just work a boring job then.

I also thought about going into medicine or other STEM jobs. I will take my time after school to see what I want in life

Ask away, what is on your mind? Where do you want to study exactly (have you got a specific university in mind, maybe a certain country)?

Why do you want to follow such a career path? Is it only statusmaxx or something else?

I don't think mes school is worth it. Try these instead:

Finance, accounting, statistics, computer science, engineering, supply chain management, economics(as a minor or do a double major with this one)

Funnily enough i found first year the hardest, got easier after that (maybe i just habituated better)

Low chance of getting into med school, so much time spent working and common to get weird hours so can't spend much time for leisure (for higher tier med professions). If that's your passion go for it, but if you're looking for the most money and free time to spend that money I'd say these other majors are more worth it

would that also apply to lab people? i figured that only applied to hospital workers, but is everywhere like that or do you have to do residency in a hospital?

Residency if it's a highly paid surgeon job not for lab workers. Lab work shouldn't be too bad but you'd hit an income ceiling pretty fast I'd imagine
