I don't agree with OP, but I think I understand what they're saying. Even if you're friendzoned, you're above the truecel who repulses women so much he cannot even get a hug or establish friendships. I think it's a pointless purity spiral, as there are cultural differences, as many have pointed out, and many incels probably got hugged as children and never got hugged again.

i don’t care how ugly you say you are, if you can entertain-max you can get a female friend . you’ll be carrying conversations and you’ll have to keep her attention and happy 24/7, but she will like you enough to hug you. i’ve seen it before
