I've been playing PES ever since the PS2 days. Gameplay-wise it's always been better, they make improvements. Most people say they don't play it because of the kits, when all it takes is just 10 minutes to download an option file with all the official kits. Graphics are usually better too, and they make improvements each year unlike the reskinned versions of FIFA every year.

I can't comment on PES 20 as I've not played it.
