Im not Spanish but from what I heard

Real Madrid is associated with Conservative Spanish nationalism and Barcelona is associated with republicanism and Catalan sepratism

I started being an FC Barcelona fan when I was 7 years old (before even knowing who Franco was).
Also, Franco wasn't strictly against FC Barcelona and the club even gave him some medals, some of his government members were openly FC Barcelona fans.

I don't really support a club for political reasons because football is a thing and politics is another thing.
By the way, Real Madrid isn't a nationalist team anymore, 90% of their players are niggers and they are constantly sperging out because of "racist insults" to their players, they even put some Valencia fans in jail because of insulting Vinicius.
