Any Art-cels here?

I'll send more pictures of my drawings for you to critique when the time comes.
It was no critique. In the original picture there is something visible above the nose which makes it look like a nose ring.

Other than that I did not critique anything.

Inadvertently, it is. You shouldn't have to be explained details about lighting/shading from the drawer, you should be able to intuit it from the work itself, because art insists upon itself. Especially stuff that attempts to be realistic.

No, I really thought there was something superimposed on the nose, so it made it look like a nose ring or som Maybe a reflection.

I have no idea, man

Does this term have any real meaning, or is it just used as a joke?
I mean, it's got dual usage. When it's used jokingly or to critique something pretentious it's meant to convey the idea that something is self-referential and insists on its genius. But when I used it, it more or less means that when you see a piece of artwork you shouldn't be given external context or be fed a way to look at it because good art should be self contained and insists on the way it is drawn/painted and the mood that its given. The observer and the artist should be separated and the medium should only be the artwork itself.

Brooooooooo!!!

I like the style.

It is beautiful.

You know what you could do?

Record your hands while drawing something or someone and then speed up the video a bit. Add some free youtube music to it and voila, you'll be making youtube buxx eventually.

People love watching such videos.

Do it, man. You have talent.
Thank you, brocel :feelsautistic:

And damn that's a good idea. I may give it a try soon. I'm working on figure drawing now and it's really hard. I'll do some easier still life's to give my self a break

Also, once you get your break through, on youtube, you just might get contract offers from musicians to collaborate with them and draw a "video" for their music.

I hope you try it and succeed, man. We need some potent lifefuel in our lives

Practice makes perfect and you have a good hand eye coordination, man.

I wish you the greatest possible success.
