I feel like it's one of those anime where you have to be in the right state of mind to "get" tbh, like serial experiments lain or Akira (maby Neon Genesis Evangelion too) but moe

I feel like it's one of those anime where you have to be in the right state of mind to understand it tbh, like serial experiments lain or Akira (maby Neon Genesis Evangelion too) but moe

ok, i'm convinced. i will watch it.

it reminds me of a movie called "linda linda linda"
it's not an anime but a movie with almost the same plot as k-on.
there's a korean foid in it that they get into the band because no one else wants to join.
at first, she doesn't fit in, but in the end, she's accepted as a full, japanese member of the band.

it can be interpreted as japanese colonialist propaganda designed to justify their prewar occupation of korea.
i can't help but think if koreans were fully assimilated into japan instead of the allies winning the war and splitting the country to ussr and usa, things might be different for the better.
japs are stronger in art than koreans and together, they would have been a powerful force in resisting western influence.

I looked at the trailer and I arleady knew it wasn't for me. I like action anime like trigun,dragon ball z,Naruto. Anime that increases your testosterone. Not watching jbs running around in suits. But to each man their own.

it's like a softer watamote.
before you say foids can't be incel or socially awkward, remember everything is possible with fiction and anime.
unfortunately there's only one season and no plans for a second.

only problem i would say is it falls victim to white worship.
there's a white transfer student and every other character never shuts up about how glamorous and beautiful she is.

I might check it out. I judged too quickly by the trailers it looked too soy and feminine for me. Is it like an authentic and raw anime. Not afraid to show blood have dark themes. Something that somewhat touches with reality?
