It’s hard to watch people rely on antidepressants, popping pills like they’re supposed to fix everything, like they’re the answer to a life that’s already been broken beyond repair. Maybe the pills help you survive another day, but they don’t help you live. They don’t help you get what you really want. You can’t fix something that’s already been broken for so long, and you can’t escape the loneliness that defines you with a pill. At the end of the day, you’re still the same person, stuck in the same place, with no real way out.
