Serious Antidepressants good or bad?

Throughout my 21 years of inceldom I have been completely sober no drugs no alcohol no nothing so I'm not used to medicating myself.
I don't even know how to get access to stuff that could be used to self-medicate anyway, but I've heard that a lot of people are on antidepressants which are legal pills - do these work?
Should I consider going on antidepressants for my mental health or would it fuck me up in other ways?

You don't become 'truly' happy though from what I've read it just makes you feel numb to negative emotions? Like a robot? I wanted to take some too but mental health isn't taken seriously where I'm from so we don't have it.

Cant say man but sure as hell i knew people who were on it. It wont stop the depression etc it will make it worse.
But this isnt a anti depressant im gonna reccomend
But ive been on huge doses of adderall lately amd ive been feeling good of myself. Maybe give adderall a try

effexor is decent but getting off it is impossible. Once you are on it you will feel a bit better but if u try getting off you will have to endure the most horrible depression/suicidal thoughts ever

-My Mom's response to anti-depressants was a huge positive mood boost while having more energy.
Everyone's brains are different so we all react differently. Try them for a short period of time. If you do it for too long, you could get addicted to them. If you don't notice a difference within 2-3 weeks then drop them.

Does it reduce things like social anxiety/existential dread I get that a lot being an incel. It can make it hard to plan for the future.

Good question. It does reduce anxiety. I don't know what existential dread is. When I said sociopathic I meant it gave me terrible thoughts. Mostly involving unironically wanting to commit mass shootings. Once I got off of them, all the thoughts went away. When I got back on them again, the thoughts came back so I got off them for a second time.

My Mom has nothing but good reactions to them. Everybody's response to incredibly different.
