Hypocrisy Anti-War Liberals now seething because the Taliban have taken their country back

Any oldcels here remember the protests that took place against the war in Afghanistan? The premise of the protests were that the war was disingenuous. The official reason for invading Afghanistan was to stop a safe haven for Al-Qaida to launch attacks from. The 9/11 hijackers were supposedly Saudi nationals who had never set foot in Afghanistan.

The invasion bought about regime change and access to Afghanistan's strategic location and resources rather than stopping terrorists. As Islamist terrorism actually skyrocketed since the invasion. So many liberals protested against the war.

One thing the American government or the protestors never mentioned was a change in moral values, changing what is acceptable and unacceptable in public life. Post invasion, Women could walk around baring their skin, adultery was no longer punishable by death for both men and women.

The Liberals who protested the war are now seething when they realized the US withdrawal means the degenerate moral values of the west are no longer being imposed. Imagine being anti-war but then seething when the war ends and it means Women have to cover up and not be whores.

The amount of resentment and pent up anger they must have felt from a foreign nation imposing their values onto them. Not surprising they retook it all within 90 hours. Imagine the support they got from the people. I can understand the Taliban and why they came back so quickly.
