Serious Anti-Euthanasia People are As Unempathetic as Toilets

This is something that bothers me as a Catholic, the Catholic Church's stance on euthanasia. I spoke to a Priest about this and I literally cannot wrap my mind around an anti-euthanasia person. This is LITERALLY what they believe:

Imagine you have Lock-in Syndrome disease, you're frozen. You can't move a single part of your body, even your eyes. You're stuck... you hate your life. Your life is GARBAGE. You just sit there all day staring at the same position on the wall because your eyes can't move. You can't eat anything, you must be fed through an IV. You can't speak or communicate your thoughts, you go insane hearing your own thoughts in your head. You can't use the internet or control the TV because you have no means to send information signals. People talk to you but you can only listen, you can't respond to correct them

Meanwhile you want to scream at them "NOOO I HATE MY LIFE HERE"

And then you hear them make up fake shit about you and you can't even respond. You get itchy... there's a terrible itch on your arm, you can't scratch it. You're in an umcomfortable position but can't move. You're thirsty but can't request water, you just sit there. You need to shit but you can't until they open your ass with a metal tool that sometimes scratches you.

The Catholics want to FORCE that person to stay alive for 60 years if they can... they want to them to die of old age. I am NOT joking.

How is this any different, or how is it not WORSE, than what toilets say about us Incels? They say we don't need sex, that we're entitled, that we should just shut up and accept our fate in life. It's bullshit and it's not fair.

Honestly I don't give a shit about terminally ill patients. I am anti euthanasia because there is a concerted depopulation agenda among the elitists. If you give them an inch they'll take a mile, so it's best that some people live horrible lives for the sake of everyone not terminally ill never being killed. It's a policy issue.

The demonic Canadian health system already gently nudges elderly people towards euthanasia ever since it was implemented. Simply being old and having high blood pressure doesn't constitute "a life not worth living where every waking moment is literal torture". Therefore, every old person who caved in to the evil suggestion that they should file for euthanasia has been murdered in my book. It should not be permissible to murder people.

It's very simple actually. Medical practitioners swore a hyppocratic oath, where it is stated they cannot kill any patient who asks for it. So any medical practitioner who did this has unlawfully benefitted from the action. They should be put to death. I am not joking here.

Abortionists and euthanizers should be hanged or killed by firing squad.

The only issue with Canadian Euthanasia is that it doesn't go far enough. It's too hard to get and too restricted. I even spoke to a Canadian doctor and they said insomnia alone is not enough to qualify for it. Also there's tons of old people in CAnada living off CPP that aren't being euthanaized.

That might be because the doctrine of the Catholic Church is completely unsubstantiated and based on the Ex Cathedra rulings of the Pope (when the pope its in the chair of St Peter) even if these are not stated in the Bible (even tangentially) whatsoever (Though there is no evidence to support the legitimacy of the Bible and religion in general). I really don't want to tell you to get the fuck out of the Catholic Church and explore Atheism and secular humanist philosophy but that's exactly what I want to tell you. I completely agree with your view on euthanasia (Just yesterday my country, England passed a law legalising euthanasia) and I believe that this is one of the key examples that secular morals are just a copy of Abrahamic morals. I wouldn't trust Catholic teaching and I understand if you are unwilling to give up your faith in God but I do urge you to at least explore atheism in order to broaden your horizons and potentially discover a new perspective.

I was an atheist for almost my entire life. I used to be a HUGE Cult of Dusty and Amazing Atheist fan. I used to read Dawkins books like the God Delusion. I've debated with Christians a lot as a teenager. I only recently converted to Catholicism in college.
