Since the investigation is on-going and I haven't actually been terminated I'm not going to post it or send it, just out of an abundance of caution. I'm dealing with a very serious IT security team for a Fortune 100 company that could conceivably get their wretched hands on something I put out in public domain. I can offer an abbreviated synopsis however. I complimented her on being pretty and having a exquisite taste in fashion. I told her that I am highly educated, tall and physically fit (all of which are true). I asked if she would be inclined to respond but qualified that request by saying that she needn't bother dignifying the email with a response at all. I sent her a second email the next day apologizing for the original email and stating that I had only sent it while I was wasted and that it was meant to be a joke/prank. In the second email I told her that I would not contact her again and apologized for wasting her time with such frivolity.

And what would her cause of action have been? Harassment under EEOC laws needs to be sustained, severe and explicit. This was a highly innocuous and benign email and I wasn't even told that it was unwanted. There was nothing threatening in it either. If they had a better case against me they would have already fired me.
