Ashkenazi Jews are smart and have a high average iq, and they're also attached and affiliated with a revealed religion.
Intelligent people tend to reject revealed religions, and since Judaism is a revealed religion, you find many Ashkenazi Jews will consider themselves Jews but not hold to the theological beliefs of Judaism (Belief in God, the Torah being given by Yahweh to Moses, the exodus, the coming of the Messiah, prayer etc...)
As such you have a large number of Jews feeling alienated from their religion, having no actual belief in the religion, yet still feeling apart of the religion because of their ethnicity, upbringing, peer pressured, and other reasons.
Alienation leads to leftism, we see this from the political alienation of women in history which led to their right to vote, the sexual revolution, and radical feminism (all a mistake). We see this in African-American's which ultimately led to their rights being given to them and the Marxist group BLM forming. Homosexuals, working-class people etcetera etcetera.
Atheist Jews are led to feel mentally unwell because of their dichotomy between feeling Jewish and actually following Judaism, which they do not. And so, this ultimately leads to their over-representation in leftist and marxist spaces.
