That's how sarcasm works. If you have to announce the sarcasm it loses it's charm.
Rules Update December 4, 2024:
“I was only joking bro! I swear!!” edgelordcel@edgelordcel rule is now being implemented from here on out due to rampant abuse of this “get out of jail for free card” which is to say in plain english, one’s escape from their probable rightful banning for free card.
What this means is since we mods usually have no way to tell whether a user is truly joking or not about a certain subject that could get them banned, from now on when we ban you for an issue such as this, where your own words clearly condemn you but you pull the “but I was only muh joking bro!” defense you will be banned for exactly 1 month’s time.
So if you don’t want to suffer such an awful fate of being deprived of posting on one of the internet’s last politically incorrect message boards + greatest incel community evar!11 you will refrain from making the kind of “jokes” that could reasonably be taken seriously and get you banned (or permabanned) were you to make them.
And no we’re not going to argue with any of you over what constitutes “reasonably” as that is up to our discretion alone as the site’s staff members.
Note: Exceptions to the rule is if users make it clear from the beginning they are joking by either stating so plainly somehow via a sentence or word phrase such as [/sarcasm at the end of their topic or post.
Our site’s popular and well known “in videogame” meme will work too to avoid banning but do keep in mind if you say something illegal the authorities in your country if monitoring the site might still hold you accountable even if we do not.
And no this is not an admission that we are reporting you all to the FEDS for the things you say though if Master@Master himself ever decided to do so that’s his prerogative as the site owner.
