great teacher onizuka (feel good and funny)
k-on (feel good, cute, sad at times, also you'll lose a solid ounce of testosterone)
clannad/clannad after story (sad as fuck bro, cried)
cowboy bebop (all around great anime)
golden boy (funny af, underrated)
made in abyss (great atmosphere and music)
monogatari series (incredible experience. story is basically null, but it's all about the cinematics and dialogue)
puella magi madoka magica (same as above but also decent story, as well as the best soundtrack in all of anime)
berserk (manly af)
jojo's bizarre adventure (also manly af)
fullmental alchemist brotherhood (good all around as well)
ping pong the animation (the most surprisingly good anime I've come across)
texhnolyze (incredible atmosphere and presentation, depressing as fuck)
dragon ball and z (if you have the time for it, it's a really great anime tbh)
welcome to the nhk (it's about a shut-in. Highly relatable except for the girl)

perfect blue and millennium actress (both from satoshi kon, good movies)
your name (story is overrated but the visuals are stellar)
5 centimeters per second (kinda cucked but I cried ngl)
sword of the stranger (has the single greatest fight scene ever conceived)
wolf children (amazing soundtrack and story. Watched it twice and cried like a little bitch the second time)
