anime adaptions are pretty shit for 2018 imo

I have dropped everything I picked up in 2018 only completed 1 which was After the Rain.

Only genre I really enjoy is moe comedy and there has not been a good one since 2015 (Non Non Biyori). It sucks because most moeblob adaptions are straight from 4-koma which are like 100 chapters long, mangas that are 100+ chapters behind in translations, or studio originals.

Nothing for summer 2018 really looks that good I don’t enjoy shounen anime’s unless I read the manga, I hate the seinen genre, the only thing I am looking forward to is the Non Non Biyori movie which I am watching in theatres by myself for sure probably going to be the only one there lol.

anime has become an advertisement for mobage/gacha, manga, LNs, VNs etc. Although the VN market in Japan is in pretty dire straits.

Seinens are adapted like shit. I can only watch shounen if I can binge or else I just read the manga. Everything else is make or break.
